Nissan is presenting eight new cars at the upcoming 2005 Tokyo Motor Show as well as showcasing new technologies. The next-generation GT-R, the GT-R PROTO concept (pictured below) is two years from production and is now designed as a specific body type rather than a sedan and, according to Nissan, the design has the look of a well-trained athlete. Originally a home-grown performance car, the new model will be sold globally.

The Pivo (pictured right) is a concept car that looks towards future electric cars. Its most distinctive feature is the cabin that revolves a full 360 degrees leaving no need to reverse. The car is fitted with Around View Technology and has two motors powered by a compact lithium-ion battery.
The Note Inspired By Adidas (below) has interior fittings, door panels and other features which have a sportswear feel to create a Remix image. The dasboboard trays are fitted with a small net while the glove compartment is opened and closed with a zipper. The seat covers are made of several different materials and design patterns so that users can change them as they like.

A compact 2+2 coupé concept, the Foria (right) has a short front overhang, long bonnet and compact cabin together with the 18" wheels positioned at the corners. Centre-opening, B-pillarless doors are fitted for easier access to the rear seats.
