(14 Jan 04) The system on Autoebid is that customers say what model they’re interested in, as well as what they’re willing to pay, and wait for supplier offers to come in. Autoebid doesn’t charge commission from suppliers, but a successful buyer pays it a "finder’s fee" of either 1% of the final price, or £250, whichever is the greater. There’s also an arrangement by which, if more than five people are looking for the same model, Autoebid will try to negotiate a bulk discount. More on www.autoebid.com. |
