Still More Interest In Diesels

Cardata, the used car database, has noticed a recent 28% increase in the number of people searching for diesel models, which account or something like 18% of all cars offered for sale, throughout the used car market, by private rather than trade advertisers.

Since the peak in crude oil prices early last month, the diesel which has attracted most searches is the Peugeot 206, followed by the Renault Clio and Ford Focus. The Ford Mondeo, Citroen Xsara Picasso, Fiat Punto, Vauxhall Astra, Renault Megane Scenic, Vauxhall Corsa and Land Rover Discovery make up the top ten.
