There's an unusual offer crossing the boundary between GM Daewoo UK, which will stop selling new cars at the end of December, and Chevrolet UK, which will start selling the same cars rebadged at the beginning of January - with, of course, plenty of improved product to come after that.

It applies to a selection of models from the current Daewoo range - but not the Matiz or Nubira. Between now and November 15, anybody who buys one of the new cars on the list will be able to exchange it in six months' time for the equivalent model of Chevrolet, at no extra cost and with the three years' service, warranty and AA roadside cover re-started from the date on which they take over the Chevrolet.

It will also be possible to upgrade from the Daewoo specification when ordering the replacement Chevrolet, although in that case the customer will pay the difference.
