UK prices for the Chrysler 300C will start at £25,750 on the road for both the three-litre V6 CRD diesel and 3.5-litre V6 petrol models. The 5.7-litre V8 Hemi version will cost £32,995.

The right-hand drive 300C will be launched in October 2005 with the Hemi and V6 petrol engines. The CRD will arrive here in January 2006 and the high-performance 6.1-litre 300C SRT-8 arrives in March.

Standard features on the 300C include ESP and an all-speed Traction Control System, front and rear side-curtain airbags, xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps, rain-sensing windscreen wipers and a rear park assist system. Air-conditioning and heated leather front seats also come as standard on all vehicles in the range. The Hemi comes with an extra £3175 of standard equipment including sunroof, GPS satellite navigation, and a seven-speaker premium sound system with 6-CD changer.

"The Chrysler 300C will bring some passion back to the E-segment, with a great looking, well-equipped, competitively-priced car," said Chrysler UK Managing Director Simon Elliott. "We don't see the Chrysler 300C competing directly with the big German brands; after all at under £26,000 we are nearly a third cheaper than these saloons."

In the UK, the Chrysler 300C is covered by Chrysler's three-year, 60,000 mile warranty.
