(Tue 17 Jul 07) This is the first official picture of the new Skoda Fabia Estate.
Skoda is being very tight-lipped about the whole business at this stage, but a quick glance at the wedge-like profile suggests that the existing estate's considerable luggage capacity will be certainly equalled and probably bettered, even if this hasn't led to a particularly stylish rear-end treatment. The new estate is due to go on sale early next year. The current one - which, to our certain knowledge, has impressed several motoring journalists to the outstanding extent that they have actually bought it with their own money - will remain on sale until then.
