(Mon 11 Jun 07) The new Jeep Patriot will go on sale later this summer at prices starting from £15,995.
It will be available in two trim levels, called Sport and Limited, and with two engines - the 138bhp two-litre Volkswagen turbo diesel already found in several other Chrysler Group products, and a 168bhp 2.4-litre petrol. The diesel comes with a six-speed manual gearbox, while the petrol gets either a five-speed manual or a CVT. All models have four-wheel drive, along with side curtain airbags, ABS, EBD and Electronic Roll Mitigation. The entry-level car is the 2.4 petrol manual, and top price is £18,795 for the Limited with either the turbo diesel engine or the petrol with CVT. |
