| Toyota Aygo Tops In Ulster | ||

(Mon 19 Mar 07) Members of the Ulster Motoring Writers Association have voted the Toyota Aygo as their AXA Insurance Northern Ireland Car of the Year.
The Aygo also won the Small Car category, beating the Citroen C1. Which is basically the same thing. As is the Peugeot 107. So why did the Toyota get the nod? Well, in the words of UMWA Chairman Jim McCauley, "the overall personality of the Aygo and the thorough integration of its corporate identity saw it nudge through to take the honours." Other winners were the BMW 330d (Medium Car), Lexus IS 250 (Executive), Audi RS 4 (Sporting) and Range Rover Sport (Leisure). For the second year running, Renault was presented with the AXA Safety Engineering Award. Toyota Gallery Previous: F1 In Schools Next: Land Rover Pole To Pole Challenge |
