(Tue 11 Sep 07) Michael Schumacher has arrived at the Frankfurt Show to unveil the new 430 Scuderia.
The Scuderia is lighter than the standard 430, and its 4.3-litre V8 engine has been modified, which means a 0-62mph time of just 3.6 seconds. Other features include the F1-Superfast2 gearbox (with shift times reduced to 0.06 seconds), E-Diff2 stability control, advanced aerodynamics and larger brakes. The result of all this is that the Scuderia can, in Ferrari's words, lap the test track at Fiorano "in a time comparable to that of the Enzo", though exactly how comparable isn't made clear.
