(Tue 01 Apr 08) Toyota has revised the specification of the Auris TR and created a new trim level called SR.
The Auris SR (pictured) owes a lot to the range-topping SR180, though it's available with the conventional 1.6-litre petrol and two-litre turbo diesel engines. It comes with 17" alloy wheels, lowered sports suspension, a Toyota Motorsport rear spoiler and privacy glass. Available now in three- and five-door forms, and with manual or MultiMode transmission (petrol engine only), it costs between £14,495 and £16,595. The main news with the TR is that it now comes with air-conditioning as standard. The specification also includes 16" alloy wheels, blue seat trim and chrome rear trim details. As with the SR, 1.6 petrol and 2.0 turbo diesel engines are offered, though you can also have a TR with the 1.4-litre petrol unit. Prices range from £12,995 for the 1.4 three-door to £15,595 for the 2.0 diesel five-door. Toyota Gallery Previous: Revised Mitsubishi L200 Next: A Cure For Car Sickness? |
