(Tue 08 Apr 08) A Model T Ford has been installed in the glass "tank" on the riverfront outside the Design Museum in London.
This 1910 example, part of Ford's wonderful Heritage Collection, is on display to represent the Model T's significance as the first car to be assembled on a moving production line - a new idea back in October 1908, when production started in Detroit, but now the norm for nearly every car built in the world today. The Model T will be on display until April 20. Previous: Five-Year Daihatsu Warranty Next: Special Hyundai Coupé |
