(Thu 10 Apr 08) Honda will be showing off a large number of its best racing cars and bikes at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.
The main attraction for car fans will be Jenson Button's demonstration of the current RA108 F1 car, while saloon enthusiasts will enjoy watching the two British Touring Car Championship cars - Gordon Shedden's 2007 Civic Type-R (pictured) and the 2000 Accord driven by Tom Chilton. The full line-up of bikes hasn't yet been confirmed, but it will include a large selection from the RC163 on which Jim Redman won all nine rounds of the 1962 250cc World Championship to the current CBR1000RR Fireblade campaigned by Leon Haslam and Cal Crutchlow. Last year's CBR1000RR, which was hurled round a lap of the Isle of Man course at an average of over 130mph during the Senior TT, will also be there, ridden by the man himself.
