(Fri 11 Apr 08) Volvo is adding to the luxury of its 2009 model year S80 and XC90 Executive, which will go into production in May.
Customer research has shown that Executive buyers place particular value on seating comfort and the quality of the leather upholstery. Volvo has addressed the first issue by adding ventilation and massage functions to the front seats, and is upgrading the trim to perforated soft leather available in three colours. The XC90 Executive also comes with hand-sewn leather on the doorhandles. The extra equipment on the S80 Executive is more comprehensive, and includes an analogue clock set into the wood inlay on the instrument panel, additional interior ambient lighting, a new aluminimum sliding cover on the front console, new lighting for the refrigerator and an Executive emblem engraved on the crystal glasses which sit in it.
Prices will be confirmed within the next few weeks. Volvo Gallery Previous: Chevrolet's Fitting Room Next: Fiat Supports Classic Rally |
