Cadillac is offering its SRX to UK business people who want to get out of the office to concentrate on their work.

This arises from a survey conducted in February on Cadillac's behalf by research company MyVoice. The survey suggested that an average of four hours ten minutes are lost from each working day due to a number of factors, the main ones being unnecessary e-mails, irrelevant internet searches, office gossip, failing computers and pointless internal phone calls. 44% of respondents said that their maximum concentration on work matters actually take place during the daily commute.

So, in what it's calling the Backseat Boardroom initiative, Cadillac is making the spacious rear quarters of the SRX available for people who want to get some real work done. And this isn't just a case of sitting in the office car park - Cadillac is also supplying a chauffeur so that you can enjoy the scenery going past at the same time.
