(Mon 18 Aug 08) Dodge's new MPV goes on sale this month at prices starting from £16,995.
The Journey is a large five-seater with two extra "occasional" seats making up a third row for smaller passengers. All versions are front-wheel drive, and there's a choice of 2.4-litre petrol and two-litre turbo diesel engines. The base model is the 2.4 petrol SE with a five-speed manual gearbox, but it's not likely to be very popular. Sales are likely to focus on the diesels, which cost from £17,995 to £22,995 depending on trim level (SE, SXT and R/T) and whether you choose the six-speed manual or twin-clutch automatic gearbox.
