| New Diesel For Fiat Bravo | ||
|
(Mon 01 Dec 08) Fiat is starting to replace the 1.9-litre MultiJet turbo diesel engine offered in the Fiat Bravo range with a two-litre version which is better in all respects.
The 2.0 is more powerful, more economical and (in CO2 terms) cleaner than the 1.9, at 165bhp, 53mpg combined and 139g/km respectively. Unlike the 1.9, it also has a diesel particulate filter and meets the new Euro 5 emissions standards which come into effect next year. NOx emissions are also lower. Performance is improved, too - the 2.0 has a maximum speed of 134mph, while 0-62mph takes 8.2 seconds. The 2.0 MultiJet is available in Dynamic form at £16,855, or as a Sport at £17,155.
