(Fri 19 Dec 08) Suzuki will introduce a new entry-level version of the Splash city car to the UK market in January.
The 1.0 GLS takes three of the existing features of the Splash (high fuel economy, low emissions, low price) a stage further. It has a 68bhp one-litre petrol engine, the smallest in the range, which gives 56.5mpg combined and has a CO2 rating of 120g/km (meaning £35 each year in VED payments) - that's the same as the admittedly more powerful but also more expensive 1.3 DDiS turbo diesel. At £8350 it's also going to be the cheapest Splash you can buy, undercutting the 1.2 GLS by £440. Suzuki Gallery Previous: Revised Mazda6 Range Next: Cheaper Nissan Qashqai+2 |
