(Tue 23 Dec 08) A more powerful version of the Maserati Quattroporte, called the Sport GT S, will be unveiled at the Detroit Show next month.
The Sport GT S looks slightly different from other cars in the range, with a new grille and metallic titanium finish headlights, and it also has new seats (upholstered in leather and alcantara) and a titanium-coloured composite trim material called Titantex. It's not all about looks, though. The 4.7-litre V8 engine has been uprated to produce 433bhp, the gearshift management software has been tweaked, the suspension is lower and stiffer than before, and there has been some acoustic work on the exhaust to make it sound more thrilling. |
