| Chevrolet Reveals Epica Saloon | ||

(Mon 11 Feb 08) Chevrolet will bring its new Epica saloon car to the UK market on April 26. It's large - just over 4.8 metres long - but it's also cheap, with a base price of £13,595.
For that money you get a two-litre six-cylinder petrol engine (making this the most inexpensive six-cylinder car in the UK), manual transmission and the lower LS trim level, which includes air-conditioning, cruise control, 16" alloy wheels, front foglights, a CD/stereo with MP3 input and power-adjustable mirrors. The more comprehensive LT trim includes 17" alloys, electronic climate control, leather seats, rear parking sensors, heated front seats, automatic wipers, a CD autochanger, an auto-dimming rear view mirror, a power-adjustable driver's seat, a trip computer and electronic stability control. What you don't get with the LT is that petrol engine. LT models come only with a 148bhp two-litre turbo diesel, which is also available in the LS. The diesel can also be specified with automatic transmission. Top dollar for the Epica is £17,695, which gets you the LT diesel automatic. |
