(Wed 27 Feb 08) One year on from the introduction of the GranTurismo, Maserati will use next month's Geneva Show to unveil a yet more special version called the GranTurismo S.
The S engine is larger (4.7 litres) and more powerful (440bhp) than that of the standard four-seat coupé. It also has the same Brembo braking system devised for the Quattroporte Sport GT S, with dual-cast aluminium/cast iron discs and six-pot aluminium calipers. Subtle exterior design changes distinguish the S from the non-S, and there are new front and rear seats with a combined alcantara and Poltrona Frau leather interior.
