(Tue 15 Jan 08) The LF-A concept isn't exactly new - in fact it was first shown to the world at the Detroit Show back in 2005 - but Lexus has added a new twist this year by bringing out an open-top roadster version.
Appreciation of style is a personal thing, but we reckon the roadster looks significantly better than the original coupé. Both cars have storming performance thanks to a V10 engine of just under five litres (Lexus has never been very specific about the exact capacity) mounted quite far back in the chassis. Driving through a rear transaxle with sequential manual shift, this unit is said to produce over 500bhp and be able to propel the LF-A to speeds of over 200mph.
