(Tue 01 Jul 08) Not the five-door Ibiza, of course - that goes on sale on July 16. But the three-door SportCoupé version, which SEAT reckons will be the better seller, will be making its world premiere at the British International Motor Show.
"Our decision to make the dramatic world debut of the stunning SportCoupé in London underlines not only SEAT's commitment to the British International Motor Show, but also our appreciation of the importance of the British car market to SEAT's global aspirations," says SEAT UK Director Peter Wyhinny. "The debut of Ibiza SportCoupé will focus the eyes of the world's motoring press on London, and we're looking forward to a warm reception for our exciting new models." Other SEATs at the Show will include the five-door Ibiza, the Altea family and the popular León Cupra, along with the low-CO2 Ecomotive versions of the León and Alhambra, which will be making their UK debuts.
