(Wed 16 Jul 08) The Kazamai is yet another in Mazda's series of Nagare ("flow") concepts which will have its world debut at the Moscow International Automobile Salon on August 26.
Kazamai is the Japanese word for "swirling crosswinds", an idea which is reflected in the car's shape. It's a compact coupé/SUV crossover - as a great many concepts seem to be these days - and it uses a new direct-injection petrol engine driving through all four wheels. "If it were to be built," says Mazda, clearly suggesting that it won't be, "Mazda's latest showcar would deliver exciting driving dynamics, frugal fuel consumption and greatly reduced CO2 emissions." More details will be released as soon as the car has been revealed in Moscow. |
