(Tue 22 Jul 08) To celebrate a quarter-century of selling Micras in Europe, Nissan has introduced a special anniversary model called, reasonably enough, the Micra 25.
The 25 is painted in a deep purple known as Nightshade, and comes with new wheel trims and silver-effect door mirrors, handles and body mouldings. It also has a docking station (and integral charger) for the iPod nano, plus volume and track selection buttons mounted on the steering wheel. Hatchback versions come with the 1.2 and 1.4 petrol engines and the 1.5 dCi turbo diesel, and there's also a 1.6 petrol C+C coupé-cabriolet with a choice of manual or automatic transmission. Prices range from £9395 for the 1.2 three-door to £16,600 for the 1.6 C+C automatic. Sales begin across Europe in early August. |
