(Mon 28 Jul 08) Volvo has announced the prices and specification details of the new XC60 crossover, which will appear in UK dealerships this autumn.
There are three trim levels, and following current Volvo fashion they are named S, SE and SE Lux. All of them include the award-winning City Safety system, which automatically slows the vehicle from low speeds if it senses that an urban collision is imminent. S models are already well-equipped, with roll stability control, rollover protection, whiplash protection, front foglights, 17" alloy wheels, climate control air-conditioning, cruise control, an information system and a leather-rimmed steering wheel with remote audio controls. The SE has all this plus hill descent control, an electric driver's seat with three memory functions, folding door mirrors, an automatically dimming interior mirror, fancier upholstery and a compass. The SE Lux gets leather upholstery, Nordic Light Oak trim, powered and heated front seats, 18" wheels, a powered tailgate and rear parking sensors. All versions have four-wheel drive and a choice of 161bhp and 182bhp turbo diesel engines. The 281bhp T6, matched as standard with the Geartronic automatic gearbox, is available only with the SE and SE Lux trim levels. Prices start at £24,750 for the 161bhp S diesel and rise to £34,495 for the T6 SE Lux. |
