(Wed 04 Jun 08) Jeep is offering a range of accessories for customers who want to add a bit of bling to their Patriot. Several of these come from Startech, and these have been bundled together into an SE Exterior pack consisting of front and rear under-ride bodykits, chrome grille inserts, an exhaust tailpipe cover and a Startech logo.
The SE Exterior pack costs £999. For £1199 you can have the SE Lifestyle pack, which includes a leather-effect centre armrest cover, chrome loudspeaker rings, a chrome gearshift gate, a leather gearknob and leather-effect treatments for the upper door trim and instrument panel. The prices include fitting and VAT, though they may vary slightly depending on the labour rates charged by the Jeep dealer doing the work. Other newly-available accessories include five spoke alloy wheels in 19" or 20" diameters (with Yokohama tyres and locking wheelnuts), illuminated entrance panels, aluminium pedals, aluminium door locking pins and a three-piece aluminium design kit for the dashboard. If you want your Patriot to have more performance or towing prowess, Jeep is also offering the Startech PowerXtra Performance Module, which boosts the two-litre turbo diesel engine's maximum power output by 40bhp to 178bhp. The Module costs £999 and its use, like that of all the other accessories mentioned, does not affect the standard Jeep warranty. |
