(Tue 10 Jun 08) The car designed by Caterham for its Driving Experience days is now available to customers as a road-going machine in the form of the CDX Limited Edition.
The CDX uses a 135bhp version of the 1.6-litre Rover K-Series engine along with a five-speed manual gearbox, a limited-slip differential, a Momo leather steering wheel, push-button start and a rollover bar. Factory-built examples cost £20,495, or if you're handy with a spanner you can buy the car in component form for £17,495. Caterham is also offering a finance package which involves deposit of £4600 followed by 36 monthly payments of £199, plus a few extra charges.
