(Wed 18 Jun 08) Cholmondeley Castle in South Cheshire will be the venue on August 9/10 for the Pageant of Power, described by Pageant Director James Hall as "a slightly noisier than normal garden party".
A variety of modern and historic cars - including the 2003 Le Mans-winning Bentley - will establish new records on a course through the beautiful grounds, and there will also be planes, helicopters and many racing boats, including a catamaran which can accelerate from 0-100mph in 4.5 seconds. The Pageant will also feature a seafood restaurant, a trade village and several bands.
