The Ford Focus ECOnetic Smart Driving Challenge has been extended to include the British Motor Show at ExCel in London.

The Challenge is designed to help people improve their fuel consumption and lower their CO2 emissions (while driving, we hasten to add). The most impressive performer at each of the six driving days will win a £1000 "eco home makeover" plus the loan of a Focus ECOnetic, while the best overall will receive £10,000 worth of free advice and appliances for their home.

The Challenge will run on every day of the British Show from July 23 to August 3. Other events are being held at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on July 5, Longleat Safari Park in Wiltshire on July 12, Blue Reef Aquarium in Tynemouth on July 19, Knowsley Safari Park on Merseyside on August 9 and West Midlands Safari Park on August 16.
