(Thu 13 Mar 08) Volvo has introduced a three-year free servicing deal, worth around £700, on the V50. It applies to new V50s bought from authorised Volvo dealers by retail customers.
The deal covers labour costs for all scheduled services, plus the price of replacement engine oil, brake fluid, spark plugs, washer fluid and various filters. The mileage limit is either 37,000 miles or 54,000 miles depending on what engine the car has. The offer applies to the car, not the owner, so if you sell your V50 within three years (having covered less than the mileage limit), whoever buys it from you gets the benefit.
