(Tue 18 Mar 08) Isuzu UK has confirmed a sponsorship deal with the UK's most famous shepherdess, Katy Cropper.
Cropper is the only female to have won the BBC's sheepdog trials competition, the briefly inaccurately named One Man And His Dog. Since then, her career has blossomed, and she now writes books, creates DVDs on the subject of dog training, appears as an after-dinner speaker and even runs team-building corporate events in which clients command sheepdogs to guide geese (yes, geese) through a series of obstacles. She still competes, too, and her next target is to qualify for the English National Sheepdog Trials. She'll be travelling their - and to all other competitions, display events and game fairs - in her new Isuzu Rodeo pickup. |
