| New Engine For SEAT León | ||
|
(Wed 19 Mar 08) The SEAT León is the latest car in the Volkswagen Group to be fitted with the turbocharged 1.4-litre petrol engine.
It's slightly more expensive than the non-turbo 1.6 petrol León, and insurance is three groups higher (Group 8 rather than Group 5), but it's also more powerful, more economical and cheaper to tax. The 123bhp engine gives a top speed of 122mph, 0-62mph in 9.8 seconds, 52.3mpg combined fuel economy and 155g/km CO2 emissions. That last figure puts it in VED Band D, the lowest of any petrol León. The 1.4 TSI comes in the Reference Sport and Stylance trim levels, and costs from £13,755. Previous: The Most Luxurious Jeep Next: New Fiat Bravo Diesel Prices |
