One of the first duties of NAC MG UK's new Chairman, He Xiao Qing, has been to announce that production of the MG TF LE500 will start at Longbridge in August this year, with customer cars appearing at dealerships in September.

The LE500 will be MG's only car for a while, but the company reports that the designers at its facility in Warwickshire are planning "exciting new models" which "will capture the essential qualities of the MG brand and extend the range into additional sectors."
