Chevrolet has introduced a new model to the top of the Lacetti range. The Sport is immediately recognisable thanks to its bodykit, 15" alloy wheels, integrated front foglights and lowered suspension.

Inside, the seats are upholstered in charcoal grey leather, the steering wheel and gearknob are also covered in leather, and there are various metallic-effect trim inserts on the doors and dashboard. Standard equipment also includes air-conditioning, a cooled glovebox, four electric windows, electric mirrors and a six-speaker Blaupunkt radio/CD with steering wheel-mounted controls.

The engine is a 119bhp 1.8-litre petrol unit which gives the Sport a top speed of 121mph and a 0-62mph time of 9.8 seconds. Combined fuel consumption is 38.1mpg and the CO2 rating is 183g/km.

The Lacetti Sport is available from Chevrolet dealers now and costs £12,495.
