Vauxhall has launched two new versions of the Astra TwinTop coupé-convertible, known as the Exclusiv and the Exclusiv XP.

The Exclusiv replaces the previous Exclusiv Black and comes with 18" alloy wheels, heated leather front seats, keyless entry, powered door mirrors, a three-spoke leather steering wheel and a Sport switch, which sharpens the response of both the throttle and the steering.

The Exclusiv XP (pictured above) has all this too, plus the VXR Styling Pack which consists of body-coloured lower front spoiler, rear skirt, lip spoiler and side sills. Both cars come with a choice of four colours: Power Red, Black Sapphire and the new Star Silver and Panacotta.

Engine choices are a 138bhp 1.8-litre petrol, a 148bhp 1.9 CDTi turbo diesel and a 198bhp 2.0 petrol Turbo. Prices start at £19,295 for the Exclusiv and £19,995 for the Exclusiv XP. For an extra £1035 the 1.8 is also available with automatic transmission, which perks up when you apply the Sport switch.
