(Fri 16 May 08) Celebrity chef James Martin is currently competing in the Mille Miglia retrospective in Italy with his 1948 Maserati.
The car is an A6GCS, of which just 15 were ever built. Martin bought it and had it restored to excellent condition a few months ago. He is partnered by racing driver and team manager Sarah Bennett-Baggs, and their exploits are being filmed for a television documentary which will be broadcast later this year.
