(Fri 16 May 08) Saab has launched a new version of the 9-5 called the Turbo Edition. It's available with three turbocharged engines - 2.0 petrol, 2.3 petrol and 1.9 diesel - and in saloon or estate body styles, plus a choice of manual or automatic transmission.
Standard equipment on all versions includes 17" five-spoke alloy wheels, heated leather sports seats, and electrically adjustable driver's seat and headlight washers. Prices start at £19,995. There's also an Aero Turbo Edition, which comes only with the 257bhp 2.3-litre turbo petrol engine. This one comes with DVD satellite navigation, electric adjustment of both front seats, uprated brakes, bi-xenon headlights, metallic paint and sports suspension.
