(Fri 07 Nov 08) Skoda has announced the price of the adaptive front lighting system available as an option on some versions of the new Superb.
The system uses bi-xenon headlights and adjusts the range and direction of the beam according to driving conditions. It also allows the driver to set the lights for driving on the right or left of the road, depending on which country the car is in. Adaptive lighting is standard on the range-topping Superb Elegance, and adds £680 to the cost of the SE and £850 to the entry-level S. It also includes headlight washers and rain sensors for models which do not already have them. |
