(Mon 24 Nov 08) Porsche has issued the first official pictures of the Panamera, its first four-door coupé and the fourth model in a range which also include the 911, Boxster/Cayman and Cayenne.
Full details will be revealed early next year, but Porsche has already confirmed that the Panamera will be sold with a choice of V6 and V8 engines, some of them turbocharged, with power outputs varying between 300bhp and 500bhp. The power will be taken to the rear wheels via either a six-speed manual gearbox or the PDK seven-speed twin-clutch semi-automatic. Rear passengers get their own individually-contoured seats, and these can be folded down to increase luggage capacity.
The Panamera will go on sale worldwide in late summer 2009, at prices which have yet to be confirmed. |
