| Ford Focus RS Debut | ||

(Fri 28 Nov 08) Spectators at the final stage of day two in this year's Wales Rally GB will be the first to see Ford's new Focus RS actually being driven, rather than being on static display.
The 296bhp turbocharged 2.5-litre five-cylinder RS will be driven by Marcus Gronholm, who was World Champion with Peugeot in 2000 and 2002, but whose career started and finished in Fords (an Escort in 1987 and a Focus WRC in 2007). Gronholm will drive the RS at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on December 6. The history of Ford RS models, which dates back 38 years, will also be marked by an RS cavalcade.
