(Fri 05 Sep 08) One of the stars of Citroen's stand at the Paris Show next month is almost certain to be the company's latest concept car, known as the Hypnos.
Nearly every show concept these days seems to be a crossover of some sort, and the Hypnos is no exception. Citroen describes it as "combining the dynamism of a coupé with the elegance of a saloon and the space of an SUV". Perhaps even more interestingly, the hybrid technology of the Hypnos means that it produces a maximum of 200bhp but also has combined fuel economy on the high side of 60mpg and a CO2 rating of just 120g/km. Now that's the kind of thing we'd like to see in production, preferably sooner rather than later. |
