(Wed 10 Sep 08) Daihatsu has added a series of high-specification models to the Sirion range, all of them distinguished from other versions by the addition of a + to their names.
The + cars all have a sunroof with anti-trap and rain-sensing features, front foglights, side protection mouldings, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and, for versions with manual transmission, a leather gearknob. This equipment adds £895 to the cost of the basic car, with the exception of the 1.5 SX+ which costs £725 more than standard. Prices therefore start at £7995 for the 1.0 S+.
