(Thu 18 Sep 08) Revised versions of the Renault Scenic and Grand Scenic will be available to order next month, and will officially go on sale in the UK in November.
In most cases the differences are limited to front-end styling: a new chrome-effect grille and black headlight surrounds give the cars a closer resemblance to the GT models in the Megane and Laguna ranges. More significantly, Renault has abandoned the old Extreme and Expression trim levels and replaced them with one called Team, which provides more equipment than the Extreme did but costs the same. Prices therefore range from £14,995 for the Scene 1.4 Team to £19,190 for the seven-seat Grand Scenic 1.9 dCi turbo diesel automatic. Other trim levels are Dynamique, Dynamique S and (for the Scenic only) Conquest. The top model in the 68-strong range is the seven-seat Grand Scenic 2.0 dCi automatic Dynamique S, which costs £23,110. |
