| Driver Power Votes For Jaguar | ||
|
(Wed 15 Apr 08) The Jaguar XF has been voted number one in the Driver Power satisfaction survey conducted by Auto Express.
The XF, described as "sumptuous" and "a triumph", hit the top spot on the basis of more than 20,000 reader questionnaires. Skoda, which tends to do very well in surveys like this, came second and third with the now discontinued first-generation Superb and the current Octavia, which won in 2008. SUVs figured very highly in the results. Land Rover took fourth and ninth with the Discovery and Freelander respectively, while the Lexus RX was fifth and the Toyota RAV4 tenth. The Kia cee'd was voted sixth, well ahead of its nearest class rival the Volkswagen Golf (not the new Golf, though, which is too recent to have figured), and the remaining top ten places went to the Mercedes-Benz E-Class in eighth and, remarkably, the long-gone Rover 75 in seventh. |
