(Fri 17 Apr 09) Nissan is adding a new trim level to the Qashqai and Qashqai+2 compact MPV ranges. Following Nissan's adventurous naming technique, it's called n-tec, and it slots in between the mid-range Acenta and top-dog Tekna.
The major piece of equipment included in the standard specification is the Nissan Connect system (also fitted to the Micra and Note) which includes touchscreen satellite navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, a radio and the ability to play CDs, MP3s, WMAs and files stored on your peronal media device which can be plugged in to the Aux socket or USB port. The n-tec also gets 18" wheels, a panoramic sunroof, rear privacy glass, an auto-dimming interior mirror, silver alloy pedals and satin silver roof rails and door handles. Prices range from £17,645 for the five-seat Qashqai 1.6 petrol to £24,295 for the Qashqai+2 with four-wheel drive, a 2.0 turbo diesel engine and automatic transmission. Nissan Connect has also been introduced as standard equipment in the Tekna, which costs from £19,245. Nissan Gallery Previous: Revised Toyota Auris Next: Fiesta Leads Europe In March |
