(Thu 13 Aug 09) Mitsubishi has added a new car to the bottom of the Lancer range. The 1.5 four-door SE is by far the cheapest Lancer, costing £12,499 (that's £2000 less than the 1.5 GS2 five-door), though its appeal may be limited by the fact that it is a saloon rather than a hatchback.
The SE is, however, slightly quicker and more economical than the hatch, with a 0-62mph time of 11.6 seconds, combined fuel economy of 44mpg and a CO2 rating of 153g/km. Standard equipment includes metallic paint, 16" alloy wheels, air-conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, front foglights, iPod input, steering wheel audio controls and side, curtain and driver's knee airbags. |
