(Wed 11 Feb 09) A convertible version of the MINI John Cooper Works will go on display at the Geneva Show in a few weeks before being put on sale in the UK on March 28.
Technically the car is the same as the John Cooper Works hatchback we drove a few months ago, but since it's slightly heavier the performance is marginally reduced (top speed 146mph, 0-62mph in 6.9 seconds) while fuel economy is 1.1mpg down at 39.8mpg.
