| New Seats For Abarth | ||

(Tue 09 Jun 09) Fiat's tuning arm, Abarth, has added special new competition-style seats for both its models. Designed to hold their occupants in position during hard driving, they feature integral headrests with slots for a multipoint racing harness.
The seats go under the name "Abarth Corse by Sabelt", a reference to the fact that Italian company Sabelt was responsible for the design (though under Abarth supervision), and they are available now for Abarth's Grande Punto model, with versions for the 500 coming along later in the year. There are two types of upholstery, and the choice may come down to budget. The cheaper seats, finished in black fabric, cost £1760 per pair, while the posher ones in Frau black leather with fretworked alcantara, will set you back £2250 per pair. |
