(Tue 16 Jun 09) Fiat has announced the launch of a new Bravo called the MSN Special Series. Priced at £13,255, the 1.4-litre petrol car costs the same as a Bravo Active with the same engine but has £2700 worth of extra equipment.
The specification includes Instant Nav and Blue&Me, developed in conjunction with MSN, as well as Sony Ericsson mobile phone technology. The MSN Special Series also comes as standard with Tempesta Grey pearlescent paint, 17" alloy wheels and a leather steering wheel. A fleet of these cars will be involved in a charity event which starts on June 26. Teams will spend three days driving from a series of European capitals (that's one capital per team, of course), to the Balocco test track near Turin, raising money for their nominated charities in the process. Fiat will donate around £25,000 to the team achieving the highest score in what's being called the eco:Index, which is all about fuel use and care for the environment. Fiat's UK arm will also donate £20 to its own chosen charity, Barnardo's, for each of the first 250 test drives taken in a Bravo MSN Special Series in this country. |
