(Fri 19 Jun 09) To celebrate the restart of production at its factory in Swindon, Honda is taking a four-figure sum off the price of selected Civic models this summer.
There are savings of £1200 on the 1.4 Type S, £1000 on the five-door SE manual with 1.4- or 1.8-litre engines and £2000 off the Type R GT, which now costs £17,980. The offer does not apply to anyone buying a Civic through the Government's scrappage scheme, which itself means a price reduction of £2000.
